An amazing restaurant very close to the airport in Juneau. I was staying nearby and ended up eating here twice for dinner the food was so good. The staff were all very friendly and the food came out quickly. Highly recommended going here if you are nearby!
We (a bunch of geezer college friends) enjoyed lunch here last July. Food was great and it appeared that the place was either owned or run (or perhaps both) by Native Alaskans, who were gracious hosts and who know their business. Huge portions of tasty food were gratefully received and hastily consumed. Our pretty server (I may be old and happily married, but I'm not blind) was smiling, efficient and conscientious and she made our lunch a true treat. A town as small as Juneau is lucky to have this kind of a local dining resource. A real pleasure. Thanks for helping to make our visit to Juneau so great!
A great diner. Best onion rings I’ve ever had and everything else is really good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great diner burger. There are fancier places in town but Donna’s has character and very good food. Coffee is what you would expect from a diner and that’s just fine
My girlfriends and I are having a girl's weekend, and starting our day at Donna’s Cafe for breakfast was the perfect choice! We ordered omelets, and they were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The service was quick and efficient, and Jason, our server, was so friendly and welcoming. The cafe itself was clean and cozy, making for a great dining experience. We couldn’t be happier with our meal, and we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fantastic breakfast spot!
I ate there about 3 months ago and was going to leave a review but forgot to until now. It was my first time in AK so obviously my first time at Donna's. I will do my best to go back there EVERY TIME I'm in AK. The food was delicious. The service (including the kitchen) was AMAZING! I'd give it 10/5⭐ if I could. The food for my entire family (5 people) was out in 5 minutes. I was absolutely baffled. I've had to wait longer for McDonalds Drive-Thru food. And nothing was undercooked or prepared poorly. The food was a little pricey but THAT WAS POOR PLANNING ON MY PART. NOT THEIR FAULT. There are people that come to work just to make a check and do the bare minimum to get it. You will not find ANY of those kinds of people at Donna's. Absolutely fantastic experience all around.
Gorgeous interior, delicious food that tastes like my mom made it, and a wonderful first impression of the city. Everybody here knows each other, and the staff immediately makes you feel welcome into their world. Highly recommend
The waitress we had was just absolutely adorable. I didn’t get her name, but she is from Greece I believe. The sandwiches were huge. Definitely could’ve shared. Between the four of us, we had two French dips, hot, submarine sandwich, and a patty melt. The only complaint I have is the bathroom needed to be updated about 20 years ago. The french fries are delicious. They’re crunchy on the outside and crunchy on the inside and the onion rings are delicious. The onion rings have a sweet taste, which I absolutely loved.
Great breakfast food and selection! I look forward to eating at Donna's every time I return to Juneau. My over easy eggs were especially perfect this time, thank you!
Donna’s is a great breakfast stop near the Juneau International Airport, especially if you’re staying at one of the nearby airport hotels. It’s a short walk from several of them, and even walkable from the airport itself, which makes it really convenient if you’re traveling through Juneau. The restaurant is bigger than I expected, with seating for probably around 70 people, though I didn’t count exactly. The servers were super attentive, the service was quick, and the breakfast menu had quite a few options. The portions are massive. This is the kind of breakfast that makes you wonder whether you actually need to eat lunch afterward. I was glad I didn’t notice the desserts until I was ready to pay and leave, because by then I definitely didn’t have room for anything else. Overall, a very solid, friendly, convenient breakfast spot near the airport.
